It just takes another form for the local Sheriff's office.;)

It's nice living in a "Free State"... instead of the Kalifornia Socialist Regime.

That includes the Upper N/W states too.
 
No separate background check for the ammunition either... and can buy how much ever ammunition you want.

Living in a Free State is awesome.

Not some "conditional" state that keeps changing rules to support Socialism.
 
Only thing here is the "gun show loophole", which I guess is going to restrict some sales.

There are some unscrupulous characters that after watching them... are trying to gather serial numbers on certain types of firearms... to copy to other unregistered firearms.

I hope law enforcement takes the time to run everyone through NICS. That walks through the doors.

That's National Instant Check System... for the uneducated.

Um, you do realize that guns are legal in California, right? You just have to wait a little bit longer for certain guns due to better background checks and most handguns have to have a *gasp* loaded-chamber indicator.

I believe you said you're from Michigan?

California has 9 gun deaths per 100,000 residents, Michigan has 15.4, that's over 70% more. Seems like you're more free to get killed by a gun in your "free state".

Most... If not all semi auto pistols, have a loaded chamber indicator built in from the manufacturer. Duh!

The ones made for law enforcement allow the pistol to be fired without a magazine in the firearm, and have no safety.:eek:

Better background checks huh. The last I knew... The NICS/FBI (i.e. federal government) has the final say on background checks.
NICS stands for National Instant Check System... and to the best of my knowledge has the final say... NOT Cali!!!

But stupid Cali has other regs like 10 round mags only... and "featureless grips" on AR-15's... and other stupid crap.

Background checks on Ammo? Really??? I didn't know ammo can commit a felony... or abuse substances. :rolleyes: ... unless you are a "Hunter".;)

Look up form 4473. It will tell all.
