If anyone has extra cash and they are keeping their LS I would highly advise grabbing these rear knuckles while you still can! Less than $200 each plus shipping now vs their old cost of $1,164.17.... So that tells me they are trying to dump these parts and once gone the cost will be nuts if you ever do need one. And I would much rather pay $200 per knuckle than to change the wheel hub bearings and I am sure most of you all would agree on that!

I found that site to be the cheapest because they did not charge sales tax on the purchase and it was like $24 in shipping.

The knuckles don't really go bad... unless they get bent in an accident.

You will have issues with the wheel bearings and axle shafts before any knuckle problems.

Only reason to buy rear knuckles would be to avoid manualy replacing only the wheel bearings.

Yeah, I realize that! That is the reason I bought them cause already had issues with bearings on the front. I think the ones on the rear are a little stronger vs front but I wanted to be sure I was riding on all 4 good bearings. I don't want to have to worry about the rear randomly giving the same issue as the front! Figured I would rather be safer than sorry for the price of what they cost right now!

Nice find Dale, now if Only you could find some OEM rear hubs too to go with this! :)

Did you order? I might actually buy a pair of these if you can confirm thats the case. Maybe ill give them a call. Wonder how many are actually in stock

Yes, I ordered but it has not shipped yet they said it will be early next week when it ships.
I say it comes with it cause of other listings of that same part number.

I have a rear bearing going out. So from the UPull yard I grabbed a hub with the axle attached. Got it on sale and it was like $25 out the door. Even is the bearing lasts a year I am going good on this one.

They both arrived today and I can confirm they both have wheel bearings in them. They have to send me another one to replace one that got damaged in shipping and I will show them pictures here. I might be being a little picky but with how poorly one of them was packaged no way am I chancing that part on my car when I can still get them to replace the one that has a bent dust shield! The problem was nothing was holding the knuckle tight so it just banged around and that is why I am refusing this!

Dale are you returning the one with bent dust shield to them? If not lmk

But I have to say this... Ford really sucks at packing their parts that they ship. As the replacement arrived today and this is how it looks. And I am going to make them replace it yet again. This is not acceptable!

Edit: They said right now they don't show in stock with ford but acted like it would come back in stock later. But Honestly, I doubt it in a sense! They are gonna give me a credit cause of the damage to it and I will just reuse my dust shield from my old knuckle as it's in better shape than this one and they gave me a $100 refund on what I paid!

Looks like they were shipped FED WRECKS.
LOL, I can't blame this on anyone but who packed it! Ford packaged one of these perfectly and the others have all been poorly packaged. It had too much room left to move around and honestly, should have been doubled boxed like the one that they got right!

Never had a problem with the brown trucks, (so far... knock on wood).

The white trucks however... seem to be s crap shoot. I've heard they like to chuck packages on the truck.

Then there was the Christmas a couple years ago... with Fed Wrecks doing the cheap delivery to the post office.

Seems the driver of the USPS box truck didn't latch the door... and dumped about 30 packages on the road.

It looked like Santa crash landed. LOL Especially after about 10 cars drove over them.

Sad but true.

Yeah, same here for the most part. But most of the time I have been pretty lucky with the poorly handled things long as the shipper packs it like they actually care! I have had 3 issues in the last 3 weeks with ford shipping. Had an issue with the valve covers as well where they hardly used anything in the box to protect the cover. Several of the bolts came out off the valve cover and the box was badly damaged that it was shipped in since nothing was holding in place! Kinda scared to see the replacement at this point considering the last 3 packages all have been damaged.
