Monday night I had my trany warning and E come on, pulled over turned off car. Restarted and all seemed fine, some time Tuesday the CEL came on and today(Wednesday) I pulled the code and got P0745. Not really getting harsh shifts at all. Had the solenoid pack replaced in 08/14 from a foreign auto parts co. listed for a jag.

Hey guys, any idea on where to go from here? I have done some searching and don't seem to have the problems of others. No harsh shifts going in and out of gear and all my gears seem to shift normal. should I clear the code and see if it gets worse or comes back on? I would think the solenoid pack should last longer than than a year.

Not always...

I would say often enough... Especially if he isn't doing the work himself.

What ever you do, don't just drive on it until it happens again, the longer you drive on it the more likely it will climb in price.

mine translated to 2500

The E light went away after I restarted it, the only light on now is the CEL. I got this code P0745 pulled from autozone. joegr what other diagnosis sould I have done? The car seems to operate fine. My print out says ECM detected trouble codes P0731,P0732,P0733 and P0734 were set together. Not sure what to do, check with a better scanner(any ideas) or buy a new Solenoid pack.

Well, you can throw parts at it, or you can try to find somewhere that you can trust to correctly diagnose it.

somewhat related, I'm lookin at pickin up a 2004 v6 for $1400 with a P0750 code. What am I getting myself into?!
Haven't seen the car yet so I'm not sure if there is more thing wrong..

Just search the code (you must have done this to know its transmission related). OBD codes are universal. http://engine-codes.com/p0750.html
They list plenty of possible causes.

yes, I did that. I'm not looking for plenty-of-causes, but more of a "solenoid A is bad" or "yep it needs a tranny flush and servo"
Anyway, I'm not going for it now, he already said it was an "ECU issue" ... which I've already made a thread about ..lol
