Auto window up and down 2002 ls

Was wondering since I just seen a post about auto window up and down can this function from the 2003 and up models be used on the 2002 ls's? If so what do I need to make the conversion beside the bcm and regulator with motor.

Anything can be done with enough money. That said, your only reasonable option is a stick-on keypad. The 1st and 2nd gens use a completely different computer interface.

I don't see what a stick on keypad has to do with adding the auto-up feature to the windows?

Anyway, you are right in that adding auto up to the gen I using gen II parts is not a practical solution.

Do Gen2's have auto up? I thought this was a health hazard.

yes we have auto down and auto up for the front windows, the motor will kick into reverse if it thinks that something is in the way and keeping the window from closing.
