Question on Fuel Jet Pump 2002 Lincoln LS V6

Was hoping someone can help me. Looking thru the forum I received much help in helping me diagnose my current problem.

The problem is that my 2002 Lincoln LS V6 runs out of gas at around 1/4 tank (maybe slightly less). I am speculating that the problem is the jet pump not transferring fuel to right side of tank. Can someone offer input if I'm on the right track?

I am also finding it very difficult to find anything actually labeled as a jet pump on auto stores in my research. Is the right side fuel pump the same part as the left side jet pump? If not can someone provide me with a proper name to look-up or better yet suggested websites links for part.

I'm thinking of replacing both pumps and plan to get right side fuel pump from partgeeks.com $140 bucks here: http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2002/lincoln/ls/fuel_delivery/fuel_pump.html

...but having a hard time determining what part to get for jet pump. Any help will be very much appreciated...

The left pump/sender is the jet pump. The right pump/sender is the electric fuel pump.
This page shows the electric fuel pump and the jet pump reasonably well labeled.

Are you sure that you really still have 1/4 tank when the engine stalls? Could it be that the fuel gauge is reading 1/4 tank more than you really have instead?

The only thing I know for certain is that I can never put more than 15 gal of gas on fill up. Ran out of gas so far twice when the gauge get slightly under 1/4 tank. As far as I know the LS comes with 18 GAL tank, not sure if there ever was a 15 gal variety. Also was hoping for an after market jet pump price. I can find plenty of after market for the fuel pump but not the jet pump.
