IMT Leak

So I just did my coils, VCG's including the IMT seals. Car was great for a week. I floor it the it the other day and boom oil coming out again from the bottom IMT. Do these things go bad? Perhaps I should have used RTV instead...

Did you lubricate the o-ring when you put it in? It sounds like maybe it rolled or got pinched some how.

Definitely lubed it, I remembered however the bottom valve did not feel as snug as the top one did in the intake. Thought it should have felt tighter.
