Now that my backup Mark (The White One) is jsut about roadworthy as my DD, I'm finally gonna get around to doing the hub swap/brake mod on my brown Mark VIII. It has 183k miles with original brake tubing and hoses- no leaks. Cobra calps will go on the front, oem rebuilt calipers on the back
--
Would using new hoses to the calipers be worth the money with regards to performance? I guess SS braided would be about $150? standard rubber OEM hoses about $70? I'm not usually big on replacing things that don't leak- and money is ALWAYS an issue

If you have the money replace anything with rust or rubber
And get ss braided for the for the rubber
If you don't have extra money do the minimum

the factory brake hoses may not bolt onto the cobra calipers.
something about the cobra brake hoses having a notched corner.
so i went with SS lines to avoid that problem.

the square metal pad at the caliper end of the pass side hose end...has to be eased off on one corner...bench grinder works good

C- do u remembr where you got your SS lines?
should I expect to see increased performance from new lines? reckon it will be hard to tell b/c the whole config will be different/better...I'm stoked
---for the rear, there's a rear left, rear right, and rear center? front is just left and right?
