Stangman
Project car a.d.d.
Ok here's my scenario. Trans has been rebuilt in my car. It overheated. Cause was insufficient flow thru stock radiator trans cooler. Barely anything. So, I can buy a new radiator for a little over a hundred, or spend just a few bucks more and get a stand alone trans cooler.
Which route should I go? Looking to get this within the next month to get the car finished up.
I would *like* to hold out until the all aluminum radiators start showing up on ebay again, and do that. So that sorta deters me from getting a new rad. I am leaning towards a standalone.
But isn't there some sort of cooler bypass that is needed? But they always fail? I remember reading something along those lines.
Also, what's the best large cooler for the money? And, once a cooler that large is chosen, does it matter on the stacked plate design since its larger?
Sorry to go on and on.
