mk8 concept car on Top gear

Since we're on the subject of Lincoln concept cars, I just found this. Never seen this car before but it looks like it may be a 4-door concept based on the MN12/FN10 platform. Proportions look similar as does the windshield and side mirrors. It's the 1994 Lincoln Contempra.

It's not a bad looking car in my opinion.

Looks like the precursor to the 95 continental.
I went back and watched it again i think its a rive too

I can't find any more info on the car. Just a few pictures. But it doesn't look Taurus based to me. If you look at the windshield and side mirrors as well as the proportions of windshield to front axle, it's most likely not wrong-wheel-drive. If I could find a side view it would be more apparent. And I do recall reading about a possible Continental variant made off the MN12 platform that never happened. This could be it.

If that's a 94 then I think we all just learned where the octistar design came from.
