Make my 03 V6 faster

I'm new to the LS, just bought it last month. It's completely stock as far as I know. Any tips? How to supercharge, at least where to get one, best CAI & exhaust? Anything helps!

Sell it and buy a gen II V8 LS. Otherwise, there's not much you can do.

rofl, you guys beat me to it. your already down on power from where you would be with the bigger motor.


honestly, though, depending on what you are looking for out of the car, this is probably the best, fastest, easiest, and cheapest thing to do .you can give it an exhaust and an intake for barely any noticeable difference. or you can spend a grand or so putting a bottle on and getting it re-tuned, then spend a fortune filling up the bottle, or you can spend times that putting a blower or turbo on it.

Any tips? How to supercharge, at least where to get one

call around looking for shops that do that kind of custom fabrication work around you ($$$$$$). your going to need to find some one because there is not bolt on kits that you can buy, and since you had to ask, I'm going on the assumption that you cant do it yourself other wise you would already know what you need and where to get it all.

and even then your not going to be able to throw some real power through it before your going to have to start dumping some seriouse $$$$$ into it fixing all of the stuff that nobody makes any parts for. not too mention that 80%+ or more of all of the boosted LS that have been through here, either blew something up, sold their car before they blew something up, disappeared never being heard from again, or just got their car back from the shop that took about 5 years to build (it seemed like it at least )

and less that 5% of all people who have started a building a FI system have finished.



not trying to be a dick here, but if fast is what you want, either buy a mustang, or just be prepared to always be a little disappointed (sometimes a lot)
