I have a chance to score a set of 4.10 gears from Motive for 75 dollars they are used but look flawless and were only run for about 300 miles. not sure if want to pick those up or get Ford Racing. from what i understand Ford Racing uses Motive to do some of their gears. however by the end of the month i should have a posi and 4.10s installed.. i cant wait

Hurry up and install it! :D
trust me i REALLY want to. but it wont happen for two weeks. on a side note i did crack a little over 100mph with that new sheft and it was so smooth it felt like i was just gliding over the street.

You just jinxed yourself, Decembers going to suck.

I don't think so. december should be good too. doing all the uppers and lower control arms and stuff like that. and prepping for paint.

I also forgot to mention that i was able to replace the ac vents in the car this month as well.

Scored another good deal at least i think its a good deal. Xcal 2 basically new in the package with the SCT plastic logo gimmick cd manual everything for 135$. I was told that he returned the old tun to the car so that should leave 4 slots still. however he said its the model that you can completely reset with the downloadable software from SCT. either way i know a guy that will unlock it and drop a canned tuned for the mark on it for about 50 bucks

now i just need a tune. not sure if the car warrents it yet with the little mods i have. im very stocked to of received this in like new condition for the price i paid and even more stocked that i got the badge with it too. not sure if i actually wanna stick it on the out side of the car or up on the dash somewhere.

Sure ya do. A custom tune will be great with the trans mod and 4.10s. That's enough to warrant the need for a tune. Even a stock car with a tune sees improvement. :) Put the SCT logo on your toolbox. ;)

i dont have the gears just yet. and i think im gonna put the sct logo on the dash on that peice all the way to right on the passanger side. i dont really have a toolbox persay

i was looking at blue chips they want 125 for a mild tune but it the write up makes it seam like i need to do a lot more to the car before its worth it.

i agree but when i see this

Mild = Naturally Aspirated with Minor bolt on parts such as throttle body, non racing intake manifold, headers, Under Drive pulleys, MAF calibrated for your setup, MAFs in the same family as stock, stock or 1 step increase injectors, stock cams, stock or stock street heads, mild stage 1 porting, aftermarket or custom exhaust, aftermarket ignition and stock compression.

makes me think i need to do more before i get a tune or need a tune. my Mark is 95% stock

"Such as" but not limited to. Your still a mild setup with bolt-ons (trans kit/gears). It's your choice but Lonnie will write you a mild tune without hesitation. I guess what I'm trying to say is you do qualify. ;)
