LS trunk cubic feet?

Anyone got a idea of LS trunk space?

According to Motor trend, 13.5 cubic feet for first gens. I don't imagine much difference for gen 2 but you didn't specify. I checked and gen 2 has the same trunk space, exactly.

Not really. Besides, those hinges were necessary to keep down the noise levels. That's straight from one of the engineers. They tried the strut type assembly and it generated too much noise around the deck lid. If you look at how those struts are mounted you will also see it would have made the trunk opening even smaller. Many, many, many cars use the goose-neck hinge. They also don't fail dropping the deck lid on your head!
