It needs to he a different color black leather would look much better.

Good imagination though.

All the trim, shift boot and armrest and ebrake boot are all this color, which by the way looks incredible. Black leather is way to used, so this with the darker brown I will be doing the 2 tone seats in will looks awesome.

I never did understand the lack of gauges in these cars. Nice job on getting some more. I would have gone with oil pressure and volts probably. Might be hard tapping a mechanical gauge in for OP though.

The quality of the work looks very good man. I am thinking black gauges with thin black bezels may blend a bit better though.

They sandwich between the gauge and the mounting surface allowing you to 'aim' the gauge at your eyes. They were only a couple bucks through Summit.

Sadly Autometer's quality isn't that great for the cost. My water temp and voltmeter are off and my buddies electric fuel pressure and boost gauge are whacked after only four years of use.

Definitely something for me to consider. Thanks for posting them.

I actually did angle them to me, it is difficult to see in the pic, but I cut 2 inch pvc at an angle to get them angled then used bondo to shape it.

I like it looks good!

Thanks everyone for the comments. I am rather pleased with it, could have been better, this however is my first time shaping something with bondo. We never used it at the shop for anything more than filling pitting in old steel or slight leveling so I am proud of it. May try this with some more items in the future

I have no clue, I never looked into it, we may be able to find a filter sandwich that has a tap so to speak for it, something used for an oil cooler may have a place for it?.? I may look into that and put one like where Alax's are I may be able to mold another that he can cast into a plastic piece you guys can buy that would replace the whole area there
