Hey guys I am new here on the forums and have this addiction to owning the LS lol...well this is my 3rd one but anyways I have a couple of issues that I am clueless about. I have a 2000 LS V8 with the check engine light coming and going the code is P0352. I know it has something to do with the coils just not sure what. The second issue is that that the advancetrac light came on last night but I think I may have caused this issue but I'm not sure.
I put in my new hids in last night. I put 6k in the headlights and fog lights and they are cheapo Xentec kits off of ebay for now. They are just temporary for the time being. I have ordered relay kits for the hid kits but they have not some in. I also installed leds in the license plate lights, reverse lights, and front foot wells. The leds seem to be decent and they weren't all the cheap. Now the reverse and license plate lights stay barely lite even after they have been shut off?? This I find weird.
I think I cause a voltage problem causing the advancetrac to mess up and the check engine light to go off. I am going to go pull the leds out for now to see if this fixes my issue but could the voltage problems from all this cause this issues I am describing?

Change your COPs (coils) and plugs.
The AdvanceTrac issue may be related to electrical noise from the HIDS, but probably not. You need to get the codes pulled.
The LEDs staying part way on is normal, and not related to this. The LS always sources some current to the bulbs as part of the bulb out detection. LEDs will light with far less current than the regular bulbs will, so you can see it with them. Note that they will shut off completely twenty or thirty minutes after you last mess with the car (key off).

Could this be related to a spent battery possibly joegr ?

Thanks for the info. I will replace all the coils and plugs and see if that fixes it. I have noticed that the LS isn't getting that great of gas mileage as my other 2 have to it may be to due to the coils and plugs. Also I'm pretty sure that the hids is causing the AdvanceTrac light to be on. The actual switch still works but the light kicks on but don't kick on until the hids are turned on.

My advancetrac light keeps coming on but i have stock hids. I think i had read in a thread it could have to do with dirty ABS sensor?

Only if your ABS light is on too. Otherwise it's probably related to the steering wheel angle sensor or the yaw sensor.

randomly my Advancetrac / ABS / Check engine light all came on for a while, only for one trip to the store. They havn't come on since, but my advancetrac still comes on everytime i drive.

I had the same cheapo HIDs in my Gen I. They did not cause any problems.

I changed my steering wheel angle sensor a couple of months ago and now every time the car is started when it is cold out in the morning the advancetrac light and check advancetrac message are displayed. If I turn the car off and on again, they disappear. I didn't unhook the battery to clear the codes but I would think they would clear after a few months.

Any ideas of why the warning only shows on cold mornings?

I think there is a calibrate routine that you can run for that sensor. That might resolve it.
