I'm not expecting mineshaft air, but the DA should be just under sea level.

Stop by if you're in the area. ;)

Oh how I wish I was there. Good luck Doug. Remember, 13.112 or better. Let's see another historical event. ;)

I wonder how late I am going to have to stay up to see this. Doug is going to do something nasty tonight. I just know it. His trap speed is way up there and that car wants to run like hell.

I know it Tis the season. I had mine out yesterday evening in cool air and it loves it. So much fun. I'll bet he's having fun :D

Ha! Too bad I am low on funds and have a hole in my headers. Cold runs on the way to work early in the morning a few weeks back my car was hitting 3rd gear with more fury than it did last year on the chip tune. It definitely feels a lot faster and tries to sidestep into 3rd. I'll bet Doug's car is just a blast all motor with over 300rwhp.

Well, it was a damn disaster.

Got there around 5:30 and hot lapped the car three times in a half hour.

Best pass was 13.347 @ 103.82 with a 1.941 60', DA 206 feet. The track altitude is 33 feet. The DA never got below 93 feet all night.

Finally got the car cooled down, and was getting ready to make a pass around 8 when someone hit a guardrail.

After that cleanup and repair, they decided to run the Gambler's race instead of the "street" cars, and near the end of that, someone oiled down pretty much the entire right lane.

I was boxed in the lanes, so I hung around. They kept saying that we'd get another run, but finally near 11 p.m., they gave up and told everyone to go home.

So it basically sucked. :(

That's not bad at all. 20$ here. I would love to have your 'bad' 93' air. Da's are usually about 2k or up here

this thread got me thinking about how far above sea level I am at the track by me, I googled it and came up with a cool little calculator to convert your ET to sea level times..found it on GLDs (my local track) website. I'm sure there's ones like this out there but I figured I'd share it..

That's about what ours are at during the summer. The track I go to is 838ft above seal level. I ran my 13.59 @ 1145 ft. DA I think my time corrected to the 13.4xx range had I been at sea level. Now I have no idea how fast my car is. I'm itching to get back out but it won't happen this year. :(

That sucks. Just think though, you will have one that is far faster on Oct 6 ;)
