SPSU Car Show

Southern Polytechnic State University had a fund raising car show to support their Formula SAE Motorsports program. My step son Matt is a senior at SPSU, so I thought I would enter The Mark in the show to support them.

Here's some Wendy vision photo's. She was trying out her new lens, and it looks like she tried every setting to see what it would do.

The Mark took first place for Best Engine, and People's Choice.

The trophies are hand made by one of the students on the Formula SAE Team. Very Cool!

What a great group of young adults. I am really glad I attended this event. My hat's off to the SPSU students!

I hardly ever enter The Mark into car shows anymore. When I do, it is for the cause more than for the trophy. I have all my trophies on display over at Aric's shop, but I think I might just keep these in the garage.

Beautiful car, and cool trophies, looking at you sig picture the stock bumper looks out of place on that car now, need to show that thing off for us and post some more pics

Thanks! I think it is a great program. The entire Team gathered around my car, and had to know everything I did to it. Then, they asked if I would do a live pod cast interview, that they streamed to the internet to promote their event. It has been a long time since I have seen that kind of enthusiasm, and passion towards their program, and cars in general. lol, Or it was the NOS energy drink booth that was passing out freebies cranked them up...

Thanks! I agree. The stock bumper does look out of place. I don't see ever going back to the stock bumper. I agree that I need to take an afternoon and take some photo's at a place that has a nice back drop. Seems the only time a picture is taken is at a cruise in or car show.
