I've got a strange one. When I put my car in reverse and get close to something, I get the backup sensor beeping. All works great, unless it's over 100 degrees out. When it's hot, the sensors don't seem to work. Is this normal? If not, what might the problem be that would cause a heat-related failure? Thanks.

We have such temperatures here (now and then), and I've never had a problem with mine. I would suspect the inside module. If it were just the radar sensor or one of the sonar sensors, you'd still have some function.

Inside module, eh? Thanks, I'll look into it. Found a place that sells them for 165 bucks, where exactly would this module be on the car?

Sweet thanks. It's on the to-do list but since it's just a backup sensor and only fails when it's really hot, it's a ways down the list.
