My car has a squeak in the back seat on the passenger side when I'm driving. I thought at first it was the speaker being loose or the crossover box for my Alpine component speakers. I wrapped the crossover box in bubble wrap (it is just hanging behind the speaker) and the squeak is still there. Only thing I think it could be is where the bottom cushion latches to the floor. Any other ideas?

The rear light housing, hanger, the seatbelt cover next to it, the front seat belt cover where it retracts. Also push on the speaker grille to see if that squeaks. The mounts -4- on the cover can make noises.

I doubt it's where the seat latches, just yank up on the cushion to rule that out.

The soft side of velco works great for fixing annoying sqeaks.

Actually I don't use the speaker covers since they rattle really bad when the bass hits. I got tired of hearing it. Thanks for the ideas though.

A broken x-brace will make a noise when the boby flexes. Had to weld mine and reinforce with metal strips.

I folded up some small pieces of paper and stuffed them into the grill covers. No rattles at all. I'm sure there are better, creative ways to fix that too though..

As for seat, maybe one of the hinges where they latch onto on the rear deck is squeaking too. Try wrapping it with some saran wrap, or vinyl tape, etc.
