I keep hearing this rotating sound coming from under the car. Sounds like its coming from the front center of the car. It's only audible when I'm decreasing speeds from 20 mph to 0..Any ideas? (I'm positive its not the brakes)
just had the brakes and rotors done like a year ago and had them inspected last week so I'll rule those out...I'll make a video and post it later kind of hard to describe... it sounds like something is obviously rotating and rubbing against something when im going slowing down....You cannot hear it when the car accelerates or reaches at high speeds. I noticed my girlfriend car makes the same sound on her car older malibu its definitely not normal
Rell your right! I went and drove again and I only hear the sound when I press on the brakes..Joe it makes the sound when I'm in neutral as well
any suggestions?
Pads and/or rotors. You'll most like find that it is a matter of the type/brand of pads that you used.
...oh... you do know thats not an LS by the way ... just making sure![]()
Since the video, yes. The principal about the brakes is still the same, but the torque converter thought becomes less likely.
...Semi metallic create more dust and are more quite, but dont last as long...they are usually cheaper too..... someone correct me if any of thats wrong...
really your call...
