what are you new, everyone knows the only way to fix an engine is to red line it until it makes a new noise or gets quite real quick. :D:D

Honestly it's like kindergarten around here with these remarks.

If you guys don't like Canadians, would it not be best you simply just
ban us all, remove our user ID's and ensure Joey gets the message

you've been around for a while so therefore it must justify your behaviour
towards Canadians.

and perhaps it's got something to do with the Canadians not showing
up at your wars fast enough, is that it ?

PS? Really...? Here is the thing, adults and grown up people don't act like children when their feelings are hurt. You need to act your age and do what your mom always told you: ignore them. No one is forcing you or anyone else to be here so if you don't like it don't come on. I am not trying to be a dick, but come one. If you are a (anything other than a hillbilly white douche) do you go to kkk meetings, no. If people here make Canadian jokes and you get made why do you come back. I am sure no one here hates Canadians, as to be honest there is no reason to.

But here's point number 2 everyone here makes jokes about everyone else. I made an Italian joke just yesterday, go check it out post counter. People make Mexican jokes, Canadian, Jokes, woman jokes, Black jokes, White jokes.

If you can not handle your own emotions, why should we have to do it for you. If it'll make you feel better make some Dutch Jokes if you know any, I don't let petty bull :q:q:q:q get to me and neither should you, especially if you are a grown up like you claim to be....

And to the last bold point, have you ever once in your life talked to anyone from another country, they hate the US, they do not make funny bacon jokes about it, they hate it. Americans treated like :q:q:q:q when they go to foreign countries. Why are you so upset, did you call comedy central too, south park makes Canadian jokes all the time.
 
CANADIANS & Spelling

I agree with BIGRIGLS. Alot of responses are really immature 20 something lack of social exsperiences. I saw this alot traveling with American service members through out the world over 25 yrs. The small group with this attitude spoil the education possible learning interaction with different cultures. The key problem with the intial post was the lack of information in getting the codes read. Some on here are real quick to critisise. The correct response should have been provide the codes. Alot of good assistance is/can be provided by the same responders if all info is provided. Forums contain a multitude of personalities. Problems requesting assistance must contain basic information to get a relative probable corrective assistance reply. We all have exsperiences repairing problems, tapping this info requires answering basic questions!
 
Big Rigi apologize if your offended in some way by my comments. It is all in good fun. Clearly there is no reason in the world to truely dislike anyone from the north. You are taking this wayyyy to seriously. The only reason its even mentioned is we've had a string of, let's call them, interesting new members, that have done some pretty crazy things lately. It's just poking fun at that.... Nothing else.... If your going to enjoy being a member here I suggest you relax a bit and find some fun In it all. Trust me, day after day of hearing the same questions over and over again, gets old... I'm hoping you just read into it incorrectly and really don't have that big of a stick up your a$$. It's a brotherhood around here, we take shots at each other, nothing more. If your hoping for something different, is suggest you find a different forum, or just get of the interweb all together....


Your real question should be way our recent crazzies have been from Canada, not why we' re pointing it out :D
 
Alright we got off on the wrong foot. My apologies, nothing has made me as frusturated as this car has. And it seems my approach is always negative when it comes to ANYTHING with regards to this car.. but just figured it tell ya all its fixed. Oddly enough an oil change and a rear diff fluid change cleared everything up its a new car.. and by the way i can spell. Yes im just lazy...

Glad to hear... These cars perplex all of us at some point (except maybe Joe), What was the condition of the oil. (nothing out of the normal i suppose).

Honestly, it was all nothing but a little new guy hazing, as its something everyone goes through.

Glad to see you up and running.. just stay away from the WOT for awhile :p

America is the most hated country in the world. We take :q:q:q:q from everybody else and don't complain.

This site is a place to kick back, relax and have some fun. In-maturity has nothing to do with age, i know plenty of grown men who act like babies.

It gets annoying seeing threads where people do stupid stuff to their car and wonder why they are having issues. After being on here a while all you want to do is relax and stop repeating the same :q:q:q:q 3213156461321 times a day.
 
Pinging from bad gas? I get occasional pinging despite always running 93, sucks. Sometimes it does it, and other times not. The gas is the only thing changing. If you're running 94, could still be the issue. Unless we test the actual octane, we kind of have to believe what they're selling. I have an extra bottle of octane booster I might try to see if it makes a difference. If it was on the compression stroke, it seems like you would feel it, and you can't feel it at all.
 
I bet the ethanol in the fuel is part of the reason for the pinging.

When these cars came out they werent using ethanol yet were they??

They have been using ethanol for quite some time. It is very bad for cars because of all the moisture in it and I refuse to use and ethanol fuels if at all possible. I am not sure when it became mainstream but I know it was around at the release of the LS
