So I'm going tomorrow to see this lsc for sale. Guy sent me pics of everything so it's a true lsc. My question is how many 95 1/2 lsc are still around? Is it a rare bird?? It's got 152,000 miles bone stock(:

To my knowledge there are no 95.5 LSC's, LSC's didn't start coming out until late in 95.

I think that is what he is getting at with the .5 part.

Its not super rare, but are not too many around. It would be VERY rare if it still had the factory HID housings, but most were recalled and replaced with hallogens.

I have a 95 LSC and it has the halogen housings. I have no idea how rare they are; I just feel fortunate to have gotten one - albeit one that needed some work, but it's coming along quite nicely!

They did that a lot back in the 60's. 1964-1/2 Mustang, 63-1/2 Galaxie, etc. If something new was added or if the body was restyled mid-year it became a ##-1/2 model. Kind of makes some of them somewhat rare. But that isn't practiced much in the auto industry anymore that I know of. At least not "officially". In other words, you won't see any printed literature denoting that the LSC you're looking at is officially a '95-1/2 model. It was just built in late 1995.

There were 95s with hid housings?

^^^yes
And markviiiedrea has a 95 LSC
I have never seen a 95 lsc in person with the 95 hid housings but my 95 has 95 hid's.:)

I looked at a 95 LSC years ago, it was a garnet red one..don't remember whether or not it had HIDs, didn't even know the difference at the time, there was also one listed on craigslist not long ago that was in a 95 only dark blue color, and I have never seen one with HIDs that came stock that way..

It has the stock hid setup, and it's mid year not 95 1/2 lol, you guys crack me up.

Who cares? They're rare(er) than the 96 LSCs..that's all that matters

I talked to a guy about one not terribly long ago, but he was in SC and the car had a little bit higher mileage than what I'm really looking for (175k), plus it was a little more expensive than I wanted to pay, but it was a real 95 LSC. Didn't have the HID's, but had the LSC trim and perforated seats.
