New Exhaust and Burning Smell

I recently had the magnaflow catback system installed on my 05 LS and I keep smelling something burning. I did research and found its common for this to happen with new exhaust, or oil got into the exhaust possibly. Anyone have an ETA on how long this normally last?

Take a good 45 minute round trip on the highway and get it good and hot.

Usually goes away after that.

Yes, normal. It is the sound "deadening" material "burning-in".

According to how much you drive, usually strong odor for first day, then another day or 2 mild odor.
