Well I'm taking my 98ivory out, for the first time in 3 weeks and when I started it up it sounded like my engine was falling apart lol. Lots of valvetrain noises, and I guess when the oil reached the top of the engine it stopped. Also I was running extremely rich. Car has never done this, hell the other 98 can sit for 3 months and it doesn't even do that

Perhaps you have bad valve cover gaskets and oil is accumulating in the holes. That may have deteriorated the coil boots?
Very true, my other 98 had some oil in the holes. I'll check it out on this one.
