2000 lincoln ls v8 for sale

maroon with tan leather. 134xxx miles v8 with new waterpump and thermostat and 3 new coils. has new fuel filter just not installed. need drivers side window module and passenger rear window regulator and or motor. some oxidizing on trunk. asking 4000 or best offer. 515-423-9002 the car is by des moines iowa.

yes its fixed. i had to keep letting air out of the bleeder. heat blows nice and hot now. it wont let me post anymore on the code p1299 thread.

mint would be 4000... with paint issues and some mechanical, Id say closer to 2500-3000... but you never know... just takes one

Advertising it as having three new coils is a negative (here at least). It just means that whoever buys it will have to replace five coils and plugs.

And possibly valve cover gaskets too. I dont know why anyone would just replace three COP's...trying to be cheap I guess.

i only replaced 3 because the other 5 are still good. they either work or they dont.

mint 4 grand? haha what world are you living in? I have seen 4 of them for sale around the midwest on craigslist and the one with the lowest miles had over 120,000 miles for 5500. and it was not mint.

Not true.
They become marginal due to high voltage breakdown of the epoxy inside. When this happens, they mostly work, but mostly isn't good enough.

That's true.

At 100k replaced the other 5 coils on the '03 that the dealer did not and the highway fuel mileage went up 2 mpg. In city did to but not as much. No noticeable misfire before.

Beauty is in the eye of the buyer. If it does not sell at the price you want, make your decision at that point as to what you are really sitting on.
