Yet another stupid question

I have searched but havent found exactly what Im looking for, and I am at work and cant get real in depth. What would happen if you put a 3.73 rear in an LSC without a chip?

From what I've heard not much... you should feel the change in gears down low but the car will have a harder time reaching the 100 mph mark until it's chipped...

Now I may be mistaken but I believe I've heard people discuss this before at least with 4.10 gears.

why would it have problems getting to 100

speed limiter stock is 124mph for LSC, with 3.73 it is much lower around 100mph or so.
