I am selling my xcal2. I am asking 180 bucks and that includes shipping and insurance.

My intake looks like its sold so that is no longer up for sale.

That is not a bad price at all for a used and unlocked Xcal2. Good luck with the sale.
 
I REALLY want this... but i think i should upgrade my suspension/brakes before adding ponies.
 
Does it really make that much more horse power for us to be worried about our factory parts getting worn easily or breaking down?
 
But if i were to buy this...it's not plug and play for me right? This guy has the V6, I have the V8. I would have to get new tunes from Torrie i imagine. What's the cost for new tunes?

Well, i don't think the parts would break, but they would be taxed more heavily, especially if you ever want to bring your LS to a track day or anything. I dont' know of anyone who has put a performance flasher in their vehicle and NOT driven harder to access the added power they paid to get.
 
But its not like its gunna add that mcuh more power, from what I read here the exhust and suspenion are as good as can be and that flasher wont top us over 350 HP's. so I doubt an exhaust upgrade will still be needed would it?

Does our exhaust flow really well or is it just a good size?
 
good question, is it straight plug and play!! i have an 'o3 v8. i just wanna plug and start tweaking off the box!

Correct. Last I wrote him, 3 tunes were $100. Contact Torrie to be sure, though..

It's not just for the HP gains, which you'll pick up a few. For the 03 throttle by wire cars, you lose that annoying delay when you slam on the gas to pass someone. But in general it gives you firmer and crisper shifts and well as a few more MPG. It also doubles as a code reader so when you get that engine light, you'll know what it is before you decide to bring it to the dealer or throw parts at it yourself.
 
i wrote him first and he tells me that i am the first person in line to get it then he goes off and sells it to someone else. thanx lloyd..
 
well i msg'd him first then i asked him a question to make sure it came with everything i need then he posts that it's sold. a little patience would have been nice instead, 1 day more without the $180 i think you'll live. obviously there was someone who was going to buy it @ that price.
