The wife was driving to work and said the engine just stopped? It's a 2005 V6, anyway I got to it an hour later and it runs ROUGH! to rough to drive so I towed it to an AZ on the way home. Half a dozen codes came up......

P0121
P0221
P061F
P2106
P2111
P2104

They all refer to the throttle actuator, Throttle actuator control module, throttle pedal sensor, even ECM fail..
Anyone out there got any ideas where to start?

Yea..... The coil closest to the PCM; #3 on the V6. I would start with a coil/plug change.

Just go ahead and replace all the coils and plugs now. There's a really good chance that is your only problem. If not, it's possible that your marginal coils have damaged your PCM. In that case, you want fresh coils and plugs in there before you put the new PCM in, or else you could kill the new PCM too. Be sure to use OEM coils.

Thanks for your input guys but it's panic over. You see I changed all the coils 2 months ago, and had one bad on in the bunch. THIS problem was one of those air cyclone things in the intake hose. Basically it broke into a few peices and lodged the butterfly valve open a bit, therefore ( I guess) the computer was reading everything wrong with it, including the TPS. So I took off the upper intake gave it a clean and a shake ( another small piece of plastic came out), cleaned the TB and put it all back together. Voila! everything running correct and back to normal, oh, and I got rid of the check Engine light too. PHEW! Thanks for taking the time to post. While investigating this last night I cam across plenty of folks that had TB problems to the point they wanted Ford to Recall the TB's as it can be dangerous at highway speeds and suddenly no power.

Why would anyone ever use one of those pieces of junk? They do nothing but restrict airflow, and apparently sometimes destroy engines.

Because they add 10hp.... Didn't you see the infomercial???:p

They work. It spins the air. Know what else spins? Your tires. Spinny thing go in, more spinny thing go out. What's so hard to understand?

lol
