Just got done doing the blend door repair on my 97 LSC and it was not a hard job at all. The hardest part was getting the arm onto the new motor because my large hands did not want to fit. I have done this twice on first gens, but they don't have the arm to mess with. That is one more item off of the too do list. The car will get inspected and get emissions done tomorrow and then I will finally have it on the road. I have a few more repair items to attend to, but they can wait for a month or so for it to cool down outside.

So you happy to be back in a Mark VIII again...

Bet you would have wish you had been in a blizzard to drive it back.... LOL

Do I here that 97 saying I want to take a trip the the Beach Party next July

I would be happier, but apparently when I unhooked the battery for a week the computer was wiped clean. The problem with that is that I need the diagnostics history to pass emissions or I can't register the car. I have to drive around with Ohio plates for about a week just so I can get the car on the road. I was told by both mechanics I took it to that it was legal to do so here, so hopefully I don't have problems.
I will say one thing, the 94 was seat of the pants faster than this one. I will definitely have to do something about it. The AC however (101 heat index) works great.

Well the Gen II aren't known for their performance LOL ... sorry Chicken and KK ... LOL ..

But it's still a Mark VIII ... and you are back in the saddle again ...
