Won't start when wet

My 94 Mark VIII will not turn over at all for hours after I drive it in the rain. If I let it sit for 7 or 8 hours and try again it turns right over. Any ideas what could be causing this?

good call. but what the water is affecting is my real question. Starter is good, have tried soaking different things to pinpoint problem and been checking grounds, but no such luck.

what mods do you have? intake mods?

No mods yet, just picked it up for 1900. I was going to try the NSS today see if I could get it to malfunction but had to work late and no sunlight left! would also like to know a good place to get a new front side marker lens? Junkyards all need to ship them in without the chrome piece for 85 bucks! might as well go new for that much.
