What size configurations and brand do you guys use? I'm hearing 24/22" is a good combo on these.

I currently run 22" Anco's that run $5pcs at wally world. Heck of alot better than the old $10+ Michelin's.

Go!

Hah, I'm still rocking the same motorcraft blades that came on the car when I bought it, I hate using the wipers and rarely do but I've had to use them the last 3 days straight, as I'm sure you know..this weather blows.

I buy the bosch icons or trico uhhhh.... whatever they're called. The fancy ones with no linkage, just a flat single deal.. I love them. Put em on everything... oh but I use Stock sized blades.... 20's... 22's.... I can't remember.

If they ain't broke...

Hey, it's better than snow! Plus we're still in a wee bit of a drought so the rain is welcomed with open arms.. ;)

You're absolutely right, I'd take rain any day over snow, plus it just washed the roads off of all salt which is nice. But in the summer when the Skilling talks about drought and welcoming rain I just want to punch him in the balls..give me that dry airr!! So I don't have to wash my car AGAIN. lol

I've always wanted to try those. Hmm.

Haha, True and True!

This year they all got Rain X Latiude. Costly but I'd rather see clearly. :D

Aren't the Rain X longitudes better? Something about them being synthetic or something.

I use the pricey RainX ones too, not sure which type thou. They were $22 each if I remember correctly. Mine are about 4 years old and still look and work like brand new, so instead of buying 1 set of $10 garbage every year, $40 every 4+ was the wiser buy IMO.
And yes, there's a noticeable difference when using good blades, I also keep all of my glass RainXed

I'm also the type of dude that pulls my wiper arms and repaints them when they need it. At least with the new hood they won't be getting sand blasted all the time

I get what ever's on sale. Just replaced them for the 1st time last summer. No sense in spending money on something that might not be here next summer!

Both of my MK8's have Rain X $22 wipers. 1st set got a $12 rebate. 2nd set $12 rebate and used a $25 PB coupon (got some other stuff also). Quality does'nt have to be costly, and my MK 8's are worth it. Easiest to install :D

Usually I use the rain x wiper blades. They last a really long time. We sold cheap Chinese wiper blades that were clones of the rain x and Bosch blades at the warehouse I worked at and they used them on their vans too. I was driving down the NJ turnpike and one snapped off the arm, good thing there was no one around me.

I've had cheap ones snap off.. I used to have those carbon fiber clones, haha those things went flying

I can't even remember the last time I bought a set of wiper blades. I've had the '97 for over three years and I'm still using the blades that were on it when I got it. I have no idea what brand they are...

I've never had much luck using beam style wipers. I've never tried them on the Mark VIII either, Mostly because I don't like the look of them... I had a Bosch on my Cougar for two weeks... Just didn't look right.

I use PIAA super silicone wipers with the replaceable blades. and I use the 24"/22" configuration... I also have a new windshield, and use RainX on it.

It's nice being able to see again.
