OK is this something common. For the last few weeks my fluid coming from the passenger side of the washer nozzle was to a trickle. Is this something people commonly experience I have attempted to clean it out myself but its hard and once I have seemed to get it clean its still don't come out. I switched them to see if its in the line and I realized that the nozzle even now on the drivers side still don't work properly.

Any clues on what this could be? Its as if it has a spring of some kind in it.

I wouldn't mind just buying a new one but they cost 25$ and if I don't need to at this point I would rather not spend that on this little piece of plastic.

I dunno the secret to cleaning those.

Mine might spray a little higher than normal... Yesterday I was stopped at a light, with the sunroof open, and I turned on the windshield washers, and gave myself (and the interior) a little shower. D'oh!!

since the drivers side is fine, it must be the nozzle itself and not a plugged tube.
first i'd simply try turning the washer on and blocking the good nozzle so the other once gets good pressure. it just might blow out anything that could be stuck in there like a pine needle or something.
if that doesnt work, i think theres a spot where you can pull one of the tubes off. just try firing a hose at the nozze to break dirt loose. force some water in the tube and out the nozzle with the garden hose. if all else failes, poke the nozzle with something soft that wont break off inside or deform the orifice.
if it still doesnt work, you'll probably be po'ed enough to pay $50 for the stupid piece of plastic :p

I think the spring thing inside is bad. here is what i did. First I took off both of them and sprayed the fluid. Since the tube goes from the passenger side to the driver side when I sprayed it it all came out the passenger side hose.

This gave me nothing but the obvious ( bad nozzle ) then I put the nozzle one the driver side and the driver side nozzle on the passenger side and the passenger side this time Like I said worked.

I also let it soak in hot water and alcohol and after that didn't work i stuck a pin inside to see if it was clogged. None of this did anything. Now I have to find one cheap some how cause there is no way I am paying that ridiculous price.

I dont wana hear any why buy the car crap cause paying that much for something like this is just stupid regardless if it was even a used Honda.

Try using a pressurized air hose for blowing up a tire or something. If the head is thin enough it'll blow the clog right out.

remove noth nozzles and soak in a bowl of pure distilled white vinegar for minimum 6 hours maximum 24 hours. Re-Install nozzles and fill washer jug with 50/50 distilled water (60 cents gallon wal-mart) and distilled white vinegar.

No actually. Thanks but like I said its something to do with the mechanical parts inside themselves ( never would figure a damn nozzle would have any ) and not the fact of it being clogged.

But thanks again.
