Windshield Defrost

Anyone else have issues with moisture patches on their front windshield???
My '03 LS will not clear up two fogged up patches near the bottom of my windshield on the outisde right in my field of view! I have to use my wipers, then it just comes right back. I've tried hot and cold air. I did notice that the vents are only on the passenger side and are barely moving any air. Anybody else had this issue. :Bang

I have this problem exactly on my 02 LS-6, except I don't think they're moisture patches. Mine come on when I turn on the defogger, and they appear to be a thin layer of something- dust from the road? Wax from a bad job? not sure yet.

Wouldn't a leaking heater core fog up the windshield as well?
