My window regulator broke today(pass side), and the window is stuck down. Is there any way to get the window to stick closed until i can get this fixed? I try to raise it by hand, but it only goes 3 in or so. I would hate to leave my window open all night and day. I live in an apt with no garage.

Wiggle it around gently. It must be hung up on something. Then slip a pack of matches between it and the weather striping to hold it in place.

lol trust me!

Lol i dont know if i want to trust you...:shifty:

Well I am on my second busted regulator but....

lol

tons of different temporary fixes... Wiggle the window back up into place and squeeze in a few folded up pieces of paper, or a few pennys. pretty much anything that will press against the window and door frame to hold it in place

lol

This is how I fixed it.

haha.

I should get around to fixing mine but I dont really care cause I have kids and the window lock dont work so if they press the button nothing happens. Mine will go up with the button but when I try to roll it down the motor just goes down and the window stays up. For some odd reason it dont fall either.

Yeah, i felt the cord all tangled up in the motor. Makes a grinding sound now. All sorts of broken plastic pieces taken out of the bottom of the door.
