Window not rolling down?

I went to roll down the window and it will not up, after messing with it for a couple of days, I finally got it all the way up. Now, I can only get it to roll down maybe 4", and it is hard as heck to roll back up.

What is wrong, I saw where there is a regulator in there, could it be that or the actual motor?

How hard is it to change also?

Sounds like the motor isnt working properly, which causes the window to be stuck in one position. You can get the reg. and motor together from "CaliforniaLightingCo" off ebay for around $60shipped. Changing it is a very simple job that only requires:

a screwdriver
a rachet
a 7mm socket
a 10mm socket

Mine were covered under warranty, I'd check that out, our window regulators weren't very well designed.

Looks like I will jsut replace the regulator and the motor at the same time then! I will take a look for it on ebay
