will the stock subwoofer box from a 2000 fit in a 2002 plug and play?

Yes, The boxes will bolt right up in any year LS and if they have the Premium sound system they will work with just plugging it in by the quarter panel. If they don't have the premium sound system then they will need to add the subwoofer plug in the rear of the radio and run the wires to the right front under the dash and find the 3 wires that run to the back of tha car for the subwoofer. You will nned a wiring diagram for the car to find the right plug were the wire come up to connect to the main harness that goes to the back of the car where the subwoofer plug is located. I did this install and it was quite a bit of work to find were the wires were located to get it to work. You will have power at the plug already, because it comes from the main fuse panel in the truck. There are 3 wires that will make the amp work and supply the power to the speakers. You can buy the plugs a the Ford/lincoln Dealer to plug the amp and the radio in. Good luck, its not hard just time consuming .
