The Fed is a disaster and we wouldn't miss it one bit.

Ending the fed in the short time that Rep. Paul would have would be a mistake, if nothing else then simply because of the amount of uncertainty it would create (which would guarantee a depression which would rival the Great Depression). Much as I would like to see the Fed go away, it HAS to be done slowly and gradually. You have to ween the economy off of the Fed or it will collapse.
