Why is my engine bay so hot?

I just brought my 95 Mark out of storage a couple of days ago. After I got it home after an easy 15 minute drive, I popped the hood. Then I remembered that this cars engine bay is always abnormally hot when compared to my 94. Like the beauty cover and even the intake tube are almost too hot to touch. So then I put the beauty cover back on my 94 and take that for a spin, even romping on it a bit. Get it home and its not hot at all, the intake tube is even cool somewhat! I'd also like to mention that both of these cars run cold on the temperature guage; barely above the bottom line on the L. Why the difference?

Are you sure you have the cooling system bled properly?

Interesting you say that, when I bought the car I could tell that it did in fact have air in the system. Since then, the temp guage never spikes and always stays right at the L, so I figured the problem was fixed. Could that still be the problem?

I am going with KK on this one, you need to fill the last part in the crossover tube, that is the highest point in the system

Yup, still have the lower air dam on the front bumper on. There are zero physical differences under the hood between the two.

radiator and ac condenser core could be plugged up, dunno just throwing ideas out there on air flow restrictions between the 2 cars.
