I am planning to replace my front wheel hubs and wonder if one brand is to be preferred over another. Rock Auto has Moog, SKF, Timken, Motorcraft and others. Motorcraft is the most expensive. I have no idea if the Motorcraft part is worth the additional cost. Moog claims a superior sela design. Oher make more generic claims. I'd prefer US made if possible.

I used Timken. They are made in the USA and have been around making bearings for over 100 years.

Can't go wrong with Timken wheel bearings, swapped out my wifes front wheel bearings to some Timkens from Rockauto
which should last a lot longer than them 40 dollar white box ones she chews through within a few months.

One time we took her car for something into town, I forget what, some sort of errand during the rain (LS stays home when it rains)
and she's trying to talk to me and I turn to her and yell ... WHAT!?!? ... I can't hear what you are saying these bearings are so loud.

White box bearings as I like to call them, will get you out of a pinch but they tend to need replacement within a few months.

oh no !!! ... time to open the wallet !!!
