Which Double Din Kit?

so ive got almost a doube din in the 96. What dash kit did you guys go with that fit and work well. I understand some "modification" might be needed but id like to be sure i at least get the right one. Any ebay or soniceletroix links are welcomed.

I'll be going with a AVHX5500BHS. its a minor step down from my 9800BT but they just dont make em like that 9800 anymore.

Bought this for my AVH-3400BT install. Worked great. Had to trim about a 1/4'' from the top though. Pretty easy.

on a side note. anyone know how many feet of "dynomat" it takes to do the entire inside of our cabs ?

Just the doors, or doors and back panels?

all of it. the doors the floors. the roof everything from the dash to the back seat. only part i wont pull out is the dash. the seats both from and back. and all the panels are coming out. it a full enclosed deal like when i did my trunk. and i used damn near 50 feet on the trunk alone.

150-200sq ft would be my guess. That would be every inch of the cabin minus the roof.

that makes me sad to hear that. that about 400 dollars not including the ceiling which i most certainly will do. i was hoping i could get away with 75 feet

You don't need to cover every inch for sound deadning to be effective. But you did say the entire cabin so I gave yo my opinion.

I have dynomat on my 2 front doors only and taped the trunk vents with Gorilla tape, I have ZERO bass leakage. Alpine MRP-M1000 and 2 12'' JL Audio W3V3's .....
