Where to get a clockspring?

Dealers only. I heard no aftermarket on this. I got mine from local Ford dealer $112 he gave me the good price. bought it couple weeks ago. Max and Tasca gave me price of 120.
I need to get a clockspring as well for my 00 ls.before my inspection in november....not thread jacking,but how much do they charge to do it at the dealer?I don't know if this one those jobs I should do on my own.

IIRC, someone paid 150 installed.. Don't hold me to that though
The dealer will charge about an hours labor plus the price of the part. IMHO, that translates to ~$250.

I got mine from tasca for $100...I just haven't got around to installing it
I just called Tasca couple weeks ago cheapest price I could get was 120 without shipping.

Do you mean part and install 150 or install 150? Cuz 150 for part and install is only 30 for labor which is way cheap.

If you sourced the part from somewhere else, I was told one hours labor.. Which our Ford dealer charges 60/hr.. So it was 160..

60 Dollars a hour for a FORD dealer?? Where and the heck do you live?? Shoot VIP here gets 90 an hour.

The main thing is the air bag.. If you don't feel comfortable dealing with it, then I personally would say don't do it.. Because that would be the time that your shaky and you forget to do a step

When did you buy yours? I thought I read you paying 102 for it thats why I called them.

My local Ford dealer wants to charge me $350 part and taxes included. I don't feel too secure about doing this job. Even tho there's plenty of help on here with pictures and guidelines, I rather pay someone especially a dealer and get it done right.
I just got it a couple of weeks ago...
