I've got a lincoln ls 2000 v6 and need to order the set of 6 new coils, I remember seeing a suggested place to purchase them online on here before and can't locate it. Any suggestions?

most get them from ebay (look for a VISTEON set, some have had good luck with alanisdeals)... or the dealer.

its a crap shoot on ebay, but no one likes paying dealer prices...

Max's prices aren't too bad compared to other dealers.
(Ad to the right->)

Bought 6 ea, for $89 on e-bay, US made. $54 ea @ Advance Auto & Autozone. 1 yr ltr no problem.

Check Amazon, all brands and prices. Motorcraft for gen2 3.0L for $31.00. You shoundn't have to buy these from a dealer.

After buying the eBay ones and cheap ones from Amazon you can then fix the original problem by buying the right ones from Maxx.

Most ebay coils have been junk but the visteon coils are sold on ebay and they are basically motorcraft coils.

They are hungarian made and a type of oem coil that interchange with DG515-529.

Get accel, msd, etc for a mustang not ford direct replacements. There's more work involved but you'll probably never have to replace a coil again if you do some more work now. If you're interested pm me and I'll post you some pictures and what's involved in doing this swap

Please do.

I just installed the Visteon coils and new Bosch IR Fusion plugs and my wife's LS runs like a scalded cat! The car was stumbling/missing under light acceleration uphill. I replaced the #4 coil with one from NAPA a little while ago when I got the ETC Fail Safe failure. When I removed the plug from that cylinder I noticed the plug smelled distinctly of gasoline. The others were were normal. That leads me to believe that the NAPA coil had failed and I will look into getting a refund. The plugs all had a rustish color half and charcoalish on the other half. There was a distinct separation between the two colors. Additionally, every plug had NGK on one side and Motorcraft on the other.
