Wheels Question

I was wondering if a set of jaguar wheels would fit on my mark viii? My friend that is selling them to me isnt familiar with knowing the demensions/backspacing of the wheels. All i do know if that they are 17s and the tires are 225/50. Would these fit with or without spacers? If i need spacers, what size?

The rims on mine were orig on a jag (s type?). Mine are 19x8.5 with a 47 offset.. I had to use a 5mm spacer ($15 on ebay for all 4) to clear the upper control arm..Though i could've just grinded it alittle for them to fit w/o the spacer. I ran 225/35's and presently 235/45's and all has been well..

oh ok. Yeah I told my friend to just sell them to someone else because I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of trying to fit them on my car. Besides Id rather some cobra wheels.
