I just want people to know how i got burned.... Guess if i had looked a little harder i would have seen fire666 post about how he cracked a wheel.... all i want to say is its kinda crazy that you knew the whole time that those wheels were bent and one is cracked. i want you to know that the wheels were put on friday night and i put air in the one you told me had a leak from a nail and on my way to discount tire i turned left and the wheel colapsed causing me to go flying into a pole at 35mph with nolan in the car..... that is the coldest thing that has ever happened to me and my son.... you could have killed me or my son all because you wanted a little money and didnt care about anyone elce.... you should have just told me instead of hiding it like that because now not only am i out the money, wheels and a car..... my 3 year old (nolan, the one you were calling buddy) wont get into a car... thanks man....

I once gave someone their deposit back on a 78 regal I was selling many years ago because the car needed brakes and she had an infant.

Some people just have no conscience and all they see are dollar signs.

i know... i couldnt do something like that... me and my 3 yr old drove 4 hrs round trip for disaster we never knew was coming....

I remember that post where he said that. I didn't put 2 and 2 together when I saw your picture and post about buying his wheels. That really sucks, man. I said it a few days ago, and I'll say it again. To those people who do this type of thing(fire666): Karma's a BITCH. You will be repaid in time.

holy crap, that sucks. I am glad to hear you two are alright though but damn, who does that! Had a guy in our group buy some wheels and one was bad, he wrecked doing 60, was in the hospital for a week. Not cool doing something like that.

I'd mention that I have a set of unbent, uncracked like new 18" wheels for sale, but this isn't the post or the time. ;)

Best of luck with everything and hope the little guy is gonna be OK.

I had those wheels on before i sold them to you. i had experienced some vibration but nothing i couldnt live with. i took the wheels off because of the flat and actually purchased a new tire to put on the wheel. I consistently drove on those wheels at insane speeds and never had a prob. i even drove home and hit over a 100mph on the fixed flat.
I sold you 5 brand new tires and some wheels that gave me no prob other than slight vibration for 600 dollars. the tires alone are worth more than that. What hes not telling you is that he sent me a text message saying a wheel was cracked. OK so take it to a machine shop and get the crack welded. You knew the tire had a leak so why put the wheel on , why not take the wheel and new tire i gave u to get mounted and balanced before putting it on your car?? I am definetly sorry for what happened but how is that my fault?.. The failure was the tire that u knew was bad.. Am i really the bad guy here?? did u even wreck did you post pics???Dude i am sorry but ididnt put a bad tire on your car. you did

Also ive never posted anything about my wheels being bent. Thanks for smearing my name on a site i really love

you are right fire.. i started to send you a message but stopped because my wife told me it wassent worth it.... you said it would hold air for a couple of hours so the tire shop is only about 45 min away.. i thought it would be fine.. as soon as i go to the towing yard and my ins comp releases the car i will post pics of the car and the wheel

ACE2122 in your post you actually said that he told you that there was a tire that had a flat, WHY did you still have the tire on your car and then try to drive on it? second is it true that you text fire666 that you saw or had a crack on the rims, if so why didnt you take the wheel off?

dont get me wrong here im not defending fire666 but like always there is 2 sides to the story, and if you did text him with that info then you took a risk of something like this happening to you, and also how fast was you going, did the tire just blow, but really i hope your son is OK i also have a 3 year old and he loves to ride in the car and if ever gets scared of riding because of something like this it will break my hart so i do feel for you man.

For about $400 more..he could have gotten those brand new 18 inch wheels and tires from discounttiredirect. Mounted, Balanced, Delivered. Sorry about the accident, but this is why I have never purchased used alloys. Too much of a chance they were welded, bent..something.

Both are just as much to blame. One for being the con and the other for feeding into it.

You would have to be a prick to sell someone something like that without telling them but to see the damage then put the wheel on and drive around like that is just as stupid.

Sorry guys but I just had to add my .02$ and hopefully something proper comes from this experience for the both of you.:)

Had one cracked and repaired ant linne machine shop out here. I didnt know there was another one cracked.. I never actually had the wheels checked for run out but just assumed they were bent because all other options failed. I think it would be safe to assume that all used 20 inch rims are prob going to bent or tweaked a lil. but the worst thing is putting a bad tire on a car and drive 45 mins away. I do apoligize for your accident and hope insurance takes care of you. I said it would hold air for a few hours, I didnt say u could drive it 40 miles at road speeds .. again i do apoligize

The leakage was not more than likely do to a bad tire , I have seen tires leak before from a crack in the wheel as well as bends which I bet either or was the cause.

Also this is another thread you started.

Perfect condition!!!http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=44251

Those Wanli's must really suck if it was bad after 2k miles!!! Unless you have switched the tires out.

I looked at the front of the wheels... even the tire that had a plug in it and i didnt see anything.... but i wassent lookingfor a crack.... i was looking for scratches.... thank you guys for your support and i have learned a lesson the VERY hard way..... by the way this is nolan... he thanks you too because he dosent know what you are saying other than he thinks because i said his name its all about him... lol
