Wheel Questions

I know the LS uses 7.5x17 size rims. Is it possible to fit a 20x7.5 or a 17x8 or 17x9? provided correct back spacing?

It would open up the rim choices a little bit.

I;m looking for something in the 17-18 range with a black center and a small chrome strip around the edge of the rim. I need to know all of my size option

8.5-9" is about as wide as you can go, granted that you can find a wheel with the right offset. Play around with the wheel offset calculator on this site.

The LS uses a 7.5 wide with a 60mm offset.

i just got my set of 20 last week and they are 20x7.5 with a +48 offset. hopefully they wont sit too far in the fender well. i went for the +48 because i plan on lowering. as soon as my tires come in i`ll post some pics. also www.wheelguyz.com has a great interactive wheel viewer. good luck.

Actaully black_lincoln your wheel will come out to the fender a bit more with a 48mm offset. That will look good lowered. I have a 42mm on mine and its about dead even with the fender lip lowered.

Thanks alot for the info man. i cant wait to get everything done.i was just a lil worried about the 7.5 and it being so close to the stock numbers i `m a lil bit relieved now. as soon as all the xmas gifts are bought. i`ll be right back to spending on the car again.
