I need a opinion on quality not looks.

How do some of you guys rate ADR's line of wheels? I consider them a fair brand and so do lots of other people but I also got some bad news from some people that do kinda seem a bit picky and finicky about anal things.

One guy said he had the for 2 years and they are great but another that obviously goes through tires allot said that when he started changing tires the paint started flaking off within a few months.

The thing that boggles me is that they can be cheap but I do see lots of people running them on STI's and EVO's and such.

Here is the one I am most fond of:

Its different. I like it cause it seems like the entire wheel is a hyper silver instead of just the face. Hyper silver reminds me of that oh so expensive brushed look sometimes. Great price as well, $1,149 with tires for a set of 19's and they are willing to work with me on the offset and widths for a good staggered fit.

I see you have been a member for a long time. Do you have a opinion on quality?

i would never sacrifice quality over plain looks so if you've researched this company and they make good quality wheels then go for it and they are willing to work with you which is something that not every distributor is willing to do. as far as judging quality i wouldn't know how to distinguish amongst the two but it seems you are doing what i would do and that is asking people who already own some. good luck on your venture, i love the hyper silver as well

Looks like a decent looking wheel. But according to their webside they do not have the bolt pattern needed for LS (5x108), unless they are going to make some for you.

Also, if you plan on going staggered make sure the rear wheel has high offset close to 50 in 19x9.5 size.

That wheel looks like a 2 piece wheel but I couldn't find anywhere stating about them being 2 piece, so I guess they are 1 piece. Which is kind of tacky for a quality wheel.

But still as Rick said just try asking somebody who has these wheels, I am sure they will give you a better answer about the quality.

Thanks, about 60 something percent of the wheels I see anymore are 2 or 3 piece in looks but aren't so I don't consider it tacky at all.

I have the rest covered as well. I didn't see it on the site but I did a search for them in this size and some Volvo people and some Taurus people ..<--!LOL!! have them in 5x108.

This wheel don't come with a full center cap to cover the lug space so blanks are not possible either. That means they cant be drilled with out casting a new wheel or drilling one off the press line and I think they are a bit to date so I'm not sure if that would be possible either.

its not a bad looking wheel, im just not a fan of the "tuner" style wheel, again just my opinion...
seems a bit honda-ish to me:)

its your ls do whatcha want!:D

as for quality, i have known a few people to have adr wheels and they were happy with them

Thats why Im getting 19's.

I agree Meshies can look Tunerish but if I play things out right with the rest of the car I can steer out of that direction fast.
