I know it's all over here... BUT... I'm lookin for some black wheels, not too radical in style, 18 or 19" that will fit my LS. The key here is I still want some quality. I'm looking for a set that won't cost me more than $1200; but I'd consider anything less than 700-800 as a value "too good to be true". Anyone got any ideas?

yeah if only the world was that perfect, there has to be SOMEONE on this forum with something in your ballpark, though.

wheels + tires? 1200? Basically that would be something around $800 before shipping costs, go to local rim shops, ask around. Nothing you find on the internet is going to be in your price + quality range.

Check my sig, I have a set for sale. Barely used and in mint condition.

I'm sorry but I'm going to play the annoying English teach and mention that advice is spelled with a c at the end not an s

Sorry, had to do it

no no no... not wheels AND tires... JUST WHEELS! That comes out to around $300 each. I suppose if I find a set that I REALLY like, I might go up to $1500. Anyhow, for black wheels, JUST WHEELS... with good quality (I didn't say show quality... just want something that isn't full of defects and a crap finish), $1200 should be do-able..

Thanks for the correction... However, being an English "teach", you should know that when you end a sentence, you should always use proper punctuation. Also, you would put the "C" and "S" in quotations such as I did.

There is a time and place for spelling and grammar corrections. This forum is neither the time nor the place for correcting SIMPLE mistakes.

What kind of quality are "Stern" wheels???

The company ADR makes them. From what I know they're a good quality wheel or I wouldn't have purchased them. Reason for sale, selling car probably.

I personally dont like the solid black look & I found these Diable Wishbones that I would love to pick up. Pretty much chrome all the way, but the subtle black would set my Black 2000 LS of just nice. Also, Im not quite sure what our wheel pattern is, so these may not even be an option.

Good looking wheels... but not my style; they're a little too loud for me. I like a more simplistic design. That's my taste though.

Well, I like the style but that's really unfortunatly not the tire I'm lookin for. I am looking at Stern's page as we speak... I like most of their wheels...

Any thoughts on what Gun Metal wheels on a black LS would look like?

Gunmetal wouldn't be too bad, sure beats black on black, well, anything beats black on black.....still trying to understand how the look of hubbies removed from a clapped out black datsun B210 (or cheaper car?) is something anyone would want. That's the look the car ends up with, a decent car (like an LS) without it's hubbies.....strange to be sure.

By the way, just something I've noticed, it's a waste of time to tell any American to do something, i.e. the previous comments about the poor spelling (caught my attention too :-) or another common situation like an idiot driving around without their lights on or their turn signal left on..... Anyone else (usually Europeans or like minded) will take your suggestion and respond appropriately. 9 out of 10 Americans however, won't. Obnoxious.
