anyone running wheel adapters.. i wanna buy this wheels that my buddy has on his mrk 5 gti.... i found a set of wheel adapters for $30 each...

the are 2-Piece BBS Mercedes AMG Aero II's 5x112 18x8.5

im just wondering if the wheel is gonna stick out too far and not look good

what do you guys think about this??????????

No siiiiiir, not going to happen. The lowest you can go on an LS before the wheels start sticking past the fenders is an 35mm offset. So talking about pushing the wheels out another 1 1/2 will have your wheels sticking out like elbows.
 
No offense, but those wheels are kind of ugly to go through all the trouble of making them fit.

If you really want to venture out for a bigger selection of wheels that you'll need adapters to change the bolt pattern for, you'll need to find a wheel with high offset, 60+ or more, not sure what the smallet adapter size would be though.

Those things are hideous lol. I'm glad they won't fit, I would be upset if I saw those on a LS. No offense though, everyone has their own tastes.
 
9.5" wide rims in the back and 8.5" wide in the front too big... I searched all over and I haven't found anything.. I'm talking about without wheel adapters cuz I found this set of wheels for 100 bucks that just need to be refinished
