Whats the squeaking?

I thought it was the steering column getting wet or something at first but with some further research seems like some sort of loose or damaged suspension part ONLY when turning the wheel squeaks? Front driver side only so I thought maybe ball joint or strut. When I hit any bumps theres a very light knocking sound almost like somethings loose. Any highlights or ideas before I go replacing stuff would be very appreciated!

I had a chance to read around finally and I think its prolly the ball joint but all the symptoms are the same so not sure.. Any insight?

it was the lower ball joints on mine. same symptoms as yours
