$90 bucks for both uppers and lowers?

Anyone ever use them...i need to replace my one lower, and the boots on both uppers are ripped so i can thier future is dim. I'm skeptical on these because of the price...was thinking of going with moog...i just cant believe one moog upper is the same price as all these?...they gotta be junk right?

:I Buddy of mine used cheap ones and had to replace them within 5K miles. Go with MOOG/TRW if you want them to last.

I'm going with all moog. Should i bother doing the whole lower or just the ball joint?

I was researching and it said use OEM for the strut rod bushings...

I fell for it. . . replaced them 5k later. Waste of time. But, With a lift and the right tools, the second time was much faster. MOOG.

Cheaper to do the whole lower. The ball joint has to be pressed in at a shop and is really not that much cheaper than the whole.

Get t-bird lowers, much less expensive and the same part. I did and several others too.

Good to know. According to my moog books its the same part number and price for both tbird and mark viii lowers, i can get a ball joint tool easily and switch them out.

I did just a lower ball joint once. In my opinion, it's not worth the extra work.

With a new lower control arm, you get a new lower control arm bushing too.

Listen to wisdom above and get the whole lower arm assembly (TBird) from TRW/Moog. Also good time to replace strut rod bushings (both ends), control arm links etc. Don't forget to also get a four wheel alignment also.
