What sound does worn strut mount make?

I have what sounds like horrible creaking/popping that you can hear inside the car when driving and gtruning. Sometimes over bumps.

Sound is only really apparent under 30m/hr. I have the car checked and everyone said front end is tight. Guessing the strut mount.

Car is an '02 with 255k and original struts so buying new ones is probably a good idea.

255k on original shocks! Holy motown these things were built well. The dealer suggest shocks when I took mine in for a mysterious creaking popping sound.

My mysterious popping/grunting noise turned out to be the end links. ...but at 255K replacing anything wont be wasted money.

I had bad sway bars and was getting a lot of creaking. Replaced them and it got a lot quieter in the front & went away completely in the back. Now I'm thinking shock mounts are causing what creaking is left.

I had a similar sound, turned out to be the hub.
